A bug has been reported in the Second Life Viewer 2.0 Beta client.
If the person you're sending an IM to is using the beta client the IM will not open a separate tab as expected so the probability is very high that that person will miss your message when s/he is logged on.
We recommend you go and vote on this issue in the PJIRA (takes less than 45 seconds) as it not only affects zonkster but also every script that relies on that function.
